As a therapist I deeply value the client-therapist relationship. It’s important to feel comfortable and connected, which is why I enjoy sharing my humanity. Hopefully this page gives you a little more insight into who I am as a person :)

my credentials

Before I became a therapist, I was a client (and I still am because life is alot!!!). I was in a soul-sucking career that no longer served me, so I decided to finally pursue grad school. As an Asian American and queer woman, I wanted folks with minority identities to feel seen in a therapeutic space. I know from my experience in therapy that the work can be difficult, but I’ve learned so much about myself. As a therapist, I incorporate resources I learn about through my community, humor, and don’t mind sharing relatable parts of myself with my clients (as long as they feel comfortable). Some of my lived experiences include being queer, neurodivergent, a mother, the eldest daughter, and the struggles of PMOS (formerly PCOS) and PMDD.

my journey

When I’m not with my clients, I feel most fulfilled experiencing new adventures with my son, being in nature, and spending time with my family and pets. I value community and try to find meaningful ways to be with people, support local businesses, and contribute sustainably. I’m a chronic re-watcher of my favorite comfort shows, but I also enjoy a self-help, social justice, or history themed book. The podcasts The Inner Compass and Cheaper Than Therapy are two of my favorites that have carried me through some very long walks. I’m happiest when I get to enjoy the rush of hyperfixating on a new craft that I’ll probably abandon in a week or two lol.
